Acne Scar Treatment At Home

A Combination of olive oil and sesame oil

Even though acne is caused by excess of oil in the skin, you could still consume oils.

The fatty acids contained in the olive and sesame oils have great benefits to your health including rejuvenating the skin.

Try to get a spoonful of each throughout your day. You could sprinkle it on salads or eat it with toast as part of your diet and you will notice the difference.

Lemon juice

This especially useful if your acne scars are dark.

Lemon juice contains a lot of vitamins and the acid in it will help lightening up your skin and which will make scars easier to fade.

Just dip a cotton ball in one tablespoon of lemon juice and cover the scar with for 15 minutes. Rinse away with warm water.

Baking soda

This easily available product is used in beauty products and it makes a great scrub.

All you need to do is to simply make a paste from baking soda and some water and apply onto the acne scar for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Stay away from the sun

The sun will burn and deepen your scarring into the skin, which makes them a lot more difficult to heal.

Try to avoid the sun as much as you can, especially when you are using another treatment to help heal your acne scars.

Ice cubes

It is one of the best remedies for scars, especially if the pimple is not completely dried out.

Apply it on to the acne scar for 10 minutes twice a day. It will help reduce the swelling and it will heal the scarring.

Aloe vera

It is a great substance to reduce scars, you could plant it in your house or just buy a gel from the drug store. It works wonders.

Try using it on a regular basis on acne scars and you will find that it will erase them.

Cucumber

The benefits of this easily available commonly consumed vegetable are often underestimated.

It is commonly used in beauty products thanks to the benefits it has on the skin.

You can either cut out a thin slice and place it on to the scar or you can grate it and use the juice to heal your acne scars.
