There is always a good within a bad. The trick is to finding that. It can be really hard to find this at first, and it will take practise. For example, the next time your car breaks down, think of the benefit that you will get for your health.
You will have to walk more places while the car is being fixed. If you break up with your boyfriend, think of the freedom that you have to do as you wish and the chance to find Mr. Right.
Force a Smile If You Need
Sometimes you need to fake the positivity. This can actually help you, though, as you start to make yourself feel good about a situation.
The next time you’re tired and think you can’t do it, try putting a smile on your face and see how you feel.
Express Your Gratitude to Others
Take the time to express how grateful you are to others. This is a great way to feel better, because you know you’re putting a smile on someone else’s face.
If you really struggle with this, have a jar that you put coins in for every time you think of being grateful for something.
It doesn’t have to be anything big. It could be a cup of tea from a friend, or help getting your backyard fence back up after a storm.

Exercise is a great way to boost your positivity and keep you that way. Not only is it good for your health, it releases the happy hormones.
It will also give you the chance to release energy and adrenaline. The next time you feel angry or sad, dance around the house or get out for a run. You will soon find your mood receives a boost.
Go Out for Fresh Air
The fresh air is another great trick to staying positive. The body needs oxygen. A lack of it will lead to tiredness and a slump in the mood. Get out more often and boost your positivity.
You don’t have to do exercise while doing this, although it is a good way to mix the two tips. You could just sit out on the grass in the middle of summer or enjoy a slow walk around the garden.
